Inpatient Care

There are 25 beds in mostly private rooms in the inpatient medical/surgical unit of the hospital. A team of clinical professionals provides individual care to patients in this primary inpatient unit, using nationally standardized clinical paths and protocols.

Many of our nurses have had extensive training and experience in specialty areas. Working as a team, our nurses, case manager and social worker follow patients from admission to discharge. Individual patient education and coordination of after-care are a major focus for the staff.

Care is provided to all populations, infant, adolescent, adult and geriatric. A recently redecorated room is dedicated to care of patients at the end of life.

Inpatient Visitor Guidelines
There is no restriction on visiting hours, but access to the hospital is limited after 8pm.

In rooms with more than one patient, we ask that visitors be considerate of the privacy and needs of the other patient.

To reach patients by telephone
Call the main switchboard number, (603) 356-5461, and ask for the patient by name or room number.
