Carol Lavoie named LNA of the Year 2010
[Lori Tetreault, NH Board of Nursing (l) and Carol Lavoie (r)] Carol Lavoie of Conway has been named by her peers at the Hospital’s Merriman House, as Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) of the Year 2010. The award offers providers the opportunity to reward, recognize and celebrate individual LNAs who are extraordinary caregivers, and valuable team members.
|  Q: I completed the recent Community Needs Assessment survey. Does the hospital really do anything with the results? A: Absolutely! Good planning means we collect data and listen to the community through activities like the MWV Collaborative’s recent survey. Those findings help all of our organizations identify priorities, opportunities and gaps in services. Our Medication Bridge and Specialty Care expansion, for example, emerged from past surveys.
| 7th Annual Health Camp held week of July 5thMemorial Hospital announced today that during the week of July 5th, the Hospital hosted its 7th annual Health Camp for seventh and eighth graders from SAU Unit 9 District schools (Bartlett, Conway, Jackson, North Conway) and SAD Unit 72 in Fryeburg, Maine. Camp participants were introduced to a valuable “behind-the-scenes” look at hospital life and exposed to a wealth of potential health career choices.  |
