“Heart Helpers” Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Pulmonary Exercise Program
Conditioning Program
After discharge from the hospital or diagnosis of heart or lung disease, patients can ask to be referred to our Heart Helpers Cardiac Rehabilitation Program or our Pulmonary Exercise Program.
These programs are designed to assist participants in acquiring the skills they need to lead and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We focus on diet and exercise, lifestyle modification and emotional support. Our pulmonary program focuses on energy conservation, better breathing techniques and building strength.
Our Conditioning Program is for anyone living with a chronic health condition who wants to improve his or her overall health under the guidance of specialized Registered Nurses.
The center's team of clinical specialists includes physicians, nurses, nutritionists and physical therapists. Our team works with you to set achievable goals, make lifestyle changes and improve your overall health!
If you have risk factors for heart disease, live with lung disease such as COPD, recently had a heart attack, open heart surgery, angioplasty, please contact us for more information about how our programs can help you.
