Occupational Health/DOT Testing
Memorial Hospital has been providing Occupational Health Services for over 10 years and offers local businesses assistance in understanding and satisfying their occupational health needs. More than 170 local and regional companies use Memorial for their Department of Transportation (DOT) and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing services.
- Our collectors and breath alcohol technicians have all received DOT-mandated qualification training and certification in order to perform these services. Most companies/employees present with a chain of custody form that identifies the regulated lab where the specimens are to be sent.
- For companies new to the testing process, we can assist with information regarding drug screening in the workplace and starting your own program.
- TB testing and immunizations are provided for local Fire and EMS squads.
- We offer Hepatitis B immunizations which are required under OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogen Standard for many local hotels, ski areas and maintenance facilities. We also offer Bloodborne Pathogen Training.
- On-site Wellness Services are available such as educational programs, blood pressures, finger sticks for cholesterol and glucose screenings, and nutritional counseling, BMI and body fat analysis.
- We can assist with company Employee Health Fairs providing information and screening services.
- If there is an Occupational Service we do not offer, questions or clarifications of DOT regulations, you will be assisted in finding the service or answers.
- Services are by appointment only, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
