Oncology & Infusion Services
Battling cancer can be one of life's biggest challenges and we feel patients should have everything they need close to home. By our affiliation with the specialists of the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine & Blood Disorders -- one of the top oncology groups in New England -- patients can be treated for cancer and other hematologic illnesses right here at Memorial.
Our newly renovated oncology center is small enough to give patients the extra attention they need, while providing the same level of quality service as larger hospitals. In addition to chemotherapy, we can provide infusions, injections, transfusion and support.
Journey of Hope, a cancer support group:
Information, education, speakers and encouragement for those with cancer and their support people. Meets the 1st Tuesday of every month, from 7–8:30pm, in the Sun Room. Faciliated by an oncology certified nurse and Social Services.
