Joel D. Chretien, PA-C

Joel graduated from Clark University in 1995 where he played baseball for four years and captained the team as a senior.  He continued on to an athletic training internship at the University of Maine where he served as the head student athletic trainer for men’s basketball, football and baseball teams.  As a Certified Athletic Trainer he worked in two high schools in Maine as well as Molokai High School on the island of Molokai, Hawaii.  He returned to Maine and worked in a unique clinical setting performing physical rehabilitation for patients with work injuries and chronic pain in an athletic training setting. In 2002, he started a business that focused on performing Functional Capacity Assessments to determine return-to-work abilities following work injuries.  After deciding to return to school, he attended the University of New England’s Physician Assistant program and graduated in 2009.
