MWV Pharmacy at Memorial Hospital

To Our Customers and Community,

The MWV Retail Pharmacy located inside Memorial Hospital will be closing on September 1, 2010.

Across the country, independent community pharmacies like ours have been unable to compete with large regional or national retailers on price of prescription drugs and related products, forcing them to close their doors. Our case is no different. We simply do not have sufficient sales volume to keep the pharmacy open and remain true to our responsibility of providing vital healthcare resources to the Mt. Washington Valley community in a fiscally responsible manner.

We regret the inconvenience to our customers who have prescriptions filled at MWV Pharmacy. We are making arrangements for the transfer of all prescriptions. We will provide you with details on this transition by mid-July.
